Don't you open that trap door!!!!

Trapdoor first hit our screens in 1984. We were introduced to the loveable (allbeit blue) Berk who's voice was the late great Willie Rushdon. The animation was produced by CMTB Animation & Queensgate Productions. Steve Box formerly of CMTB Animation's, now works for Aardman and has helped to produce such films as Chicken Run.

Who thought a large blue blob of plasticene would eventally help make a BAFTA award winning film.
